Projects Outside Lebanon

Maya Husseini is currently designing and executing projects outside of Lebanon. She finished in 2023 the installation of two big projects: The Latin Basilica of the Baptism of Jesus Christ in Jordan and a skylight in a private residence in Egypt. These two projects made Maya Husseini an internationally renowned artist in both domains: religious projects and luxury residential projects. These projects were all shipped by professionals.

Latin Basilica of the Baptism of Christ – El-Maghtas-Jordan

Located in the site of the baptism of Jesus Christ, the basilica was supposed to be finished in 2021 but due to the sanitary crisis of Covid-19, and the Beirut blast on August 4, 2020, the project was finished in 2023. The particularity of this project is the important number of biblical scenes that required a lot of research and high painting skills.

Skylight in a private residence- Egypt

It is the first skylight that Maya Husseini design and execute. The main challenge is the elliptic form of the dome and its dimensions: 6 meters long, 4 meters wide and 3 meters high. Sixty- five stained glass panels in total were all shipped and safely installed in a private residence in Egypt.
